LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Public participation is now an essential part of project management , particularly in approval procedures. Both the organization and planning, as well as in implementing people are involved in the process of major challenges. This module will help you to efficiently prepare for the public participation process and the hearing date. The focus of the seminar is on the organizational aspects and legal bases for planning. It provides you with substantive, psychological and demographic factors, which play an important role in the negotiating process. In view of the often conflicting public, political and economic interests of the parties, difficulties are lighted and appropriate approaches to conflict-avoided are pointed out. As a participant employees of supervisory and licensing authorities are addressed as well as project developers who deal in their work with the organization of licensing procedures and hearings.
