LEAN MANAGEMENT METHODS FOR THE OPERATION AND DECOMMISSIONING OF NUCLEAR FACILITIES
In this seminar, you will learn the basics of "Lean Management" and its practical application in the operation and decommissioning of nuclear power plants. "Lean Management" has been applied as a concept for process and system design in various industries for decades. This seminar shows how Lean can be successfully applied in nuclear power plants to make processes and systems more efficient and safer. Based on practical examples from nuclear power plants, you will be enabled to independently optimize first processes and systems. Particular focus is placed on the link between productivity, process reliability and ultimately safety.
