The BEAST project starts in 2022

Partner organizations:
AiNT, in collaboration with the OECD/NEA and other partner organizations, offers a tailored education and training program for postgraduates, (post)-doctoral students and young professionals who intend to work in the field of nuclear decommissioning and waste management.
The project, called "BEAST", is part of the OECD's Nuclear Education, Skills and Technology (NEST) framework program and was initiated to promote nuclear expertise, knowledge transfer and technical innovation in a collaborative effort between private and public institutions.
BEAST stands for "Building competence, Expert knowledge, Applied techniques, Safe decommissioning, Train fellows" and includes as training formats webinars and a summer school to impart theoretical and practical basic and technical knowledge. The program is rounded off by "networking" activities in connection with ICOND (www.icond.de) event in November 2022 with various program items such as "Meet your Company" or "Business Speed Networking". The BEAST project also provides funding support to facilitate internships between the partner organizations.
